Fifth Day Lunch

The Ormond Amateur Football Club is introducing a series of pleasant Friday lunches this season. The Fifth Day Lunch series is an opportunity for local people to come together at the McKinnon Hotel to socialise, be entertained, and to network.

The Fifth Day Lunch is open to all, irrespective of whether you are a long time or a short time supporter of the Club, a local business person, associated with another community group, or just a local resident wanting to meet other local people. Guests will enjoy a delicious two-course meal (inclusive of all drinks), and topical conversations and presentations.

Whilst hosted by the Ormond Amateur Football Club, the Lunches are open to all and the topics will be varied.

The first Fifth Day Lunch will be held on Friday 31 March, and the guest speaker is an icon of the Victorian football community – Gary Ayres. Gary is a Hawthorn FC legend having played 269 games, including 5 AFL Premierships, and then became a long-time coach with Geelong, Adelaide and now Port Melbourne (VFL).
