Russell is a legend of the Club, playing 255 Senior Games, 4 Premierships (A Grade), Club Captain 1985-1989 & 1991, Senior Coach 2008 - 2009 and OAFC Life Member.
Russell and Jude are an integral part of the Ormond Community and children Jane, Michael & John grew up around the Brown & Blue.
Tragedy struck the family when Jane was diagnosed with Luekemia in 2016 and sadly passed away in 2018.
In Jane's memory, Russell, Jude, Michael and John commerate her journey through the Maddie Riewodlt Foundation.
Each year a Beanie is released to mark Jane's Match and an Ormond Hoodie is also on sale to raise valuable funds to support the Maddie Riewodlt Foundation.
